Ross Wood

2/15/07 - Update from Ross...

This plane has been in my family since 1971 when my grandfather bought it for my dad (William Wood).

1947 Luscombe 8A, N1142B
“No Wood, No Nails, No Glue”

It took my dad and me about 3-4 years to get it back into the air after it was hit in the tail section with a John Deere bush hog totaling it out.

We took our time to clean and replace anything that was not up to par. When we got it finished I Flew it to Pine Bluff to have a new radio and intercom installed.  Next stop for it will be the paint shop!  It has been a long time, but it was worth the wait, what a joy to fly!
